Helping frustrated parents find JOY in their JOurneY Submit

IT comes upon us stealthily and covertly.  IT comes in the form of annoyances, temper tantrums, sibling rivalry, sarcasm, and disrespect. Our children ignore us!  They seem to have developed a hearing loss, and they are blind as bats when IT comes to picking up after themselves.  Childhood Alzheimer’s has already set in because no one seems to remember anything we tell them.  They answer our questions with, “What, I don’t know, or You never told me to to do that!”  IT has overpowered our confidence and brought us to the unfathomable fact that the more we do for our children, the more selfish, self-centered and demanding they become!  How is that possible?  We feel like prisoners in our own home and don’t have a clue as to how we got there.  We wonder: What have I gotten myself into?
